    Lots more info will be posted here and in other threads but for now a quick and easy description about the difference in headsets. When you are completely new to VR!

    What is Virtual Reality (VR) ?
    Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment.

    It is an immersive video experience that puts the viewer in the middle of the action.
    When you are watching a VR video it feels like all the action is happening to you.

    How does it work?
    There are three primary types of VR Headsets:
    PC-based, Smartphone-based and Standalone.

    1. Mobile phones (both iOS and Android) :
    Require VR Headset: GearVR, Cardboards, Daydream, Homido etc.

    Smartphone based headsets can be purchased for as low as $3 from amazon or your localelectronics store.

    Step 1. User Downloads a VR player app from the app store
    Step 2. User can either start streaming the video by copying the URL to the VR player app orthey can watch the downloaded video.
    Step 3. User places his/her mobile into VR headset

    2. Desktop
    Require VR Headset:HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Windows Mixed Reality PC-powered headsets are the top segments.

    Starting price from $400 and above.
    Step 1. User Download a VR player
    Step 2. User can either start streaming the video by copying the URL to the VR player app or watching the downloaded video.
    Step 3. User puts on headset

    3. Standalone VR Headset:
    Oculus go, PicoVR.
    Doesn’t require mobile or desktop.
